Super Lawyers honors Stites & Harbison’s Kentucky attorneys for 2013-14
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Super Lawyers names 53 Stites & Harbison attorneys in the Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville, Ky., offices for inclusion on the 2013-14 Kentucky Super Lawyers list and 19 attorneys are named on the inaugural Rising Stars list.
Chairman Ken Sagan notes the following honors bestowed upon our Members (Partners): health care attorney/litigator Charles (Mike) Cronan IV was again named one of the Top 10 Attorneys in Kentucky; four are listed on the Top 25 Women Attorneys in the state: Carol Dan Browning (trial attorney), Sarah Cronan (trial attorney), Anne Gorham (construction attorney) and Shannon Antle Hamilton (employment attorney); and eight are listed among the Top 50 Attorneys in Kentucky: Joel Beres, Carol Dan Browning, Robert Connolly, Charles (Mike) Cronan IV, Alfred Joseph, III, David Saffer, John Tate and Jack Wheat.

Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Only 5% of the lawyers in each state or region are named to the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list. Rising Stars are selected based on the same criteria as Super Lawyers with the exception of peer evaluation by practice area. Additionally, one must be 40 years old or younger, or have made exceptional contributions in a particular practice area for 10 years or less.
