Terry L. Wright
Serving as the current chair the Intellectual Property & Technology Group at the firm, Terry Wright is a Registered Patent Attorney whose practice focuses on designing and implementing intellectual property protection strategies. Terry has extensive experience advising clients ranging from small, privately held companies to multi-national, publicly traded companies. He regularly prepares protection plans for intellectual property associated with consumer goods, medical and other mechanical devices, and life sciences-associated technologies. As part of his practice, Terry routinely focuses on multiple areas of intellectual property protection, including trademark and copyright issues, licensing agreements, and patent-related aspects of intellectual property, such as patent drafting, patent prosecution and counseling clients on infringement, validity and patentability.
Contributing to his practice is a background in life sciences and chemistry, with academic research experience in the areas of cardiovascular biology, molecular and cellular biology, pharmacology, and biotechnology. He also maintains a vast understanding of the mechanical arts and material sciences, including the underlying processes, reactions, and chemical interactions associated with the material sciences field.
