Super Lawyers honor Stites & Harbison’s Kentucky Attorneys
(image) LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Super Lawyers names 52 Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorneys in the Covington, Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville, Ky., offices for inclusion on the 2015 Kentucky Super Lawyers list and 18 attorneys are named on the Rising Stars list.
Many of our Members (Partners) have received special recognition in Kentucky Super Lawyers. Eight attorneys are listed among the Top 50 Attorneys in Kentucky: Joel Beres, Carol Dan Browning, Robert Connolly, Charles (Mike) Cronan IV, Shannon Antle Hamilton, Alfred Joseph, III, John Tate and Jack Wheat.
Of special note, Stites & Harbison was listed in Super Lawyers Business Edition for 2014 as the sole law firm earning the honor of “Top Law Firm” in Kentucky for Intellectual Property and one of four “Top Law Firms” in Kentucky for Litigation. Firms were selected based on the number of firm attorneys who have been chosen for a 2013 or 2014 Super Lawyers list in the appropriate practice area, the number of years honored on the list, inclusion on a top list, and average blue ribbon panel score. Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Only 5% of the lawyers in each state or region are named to the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list. Rising Stars are selected based on the same criteria as Super Lawyers with the exception of peer evaluation by practice area. Additionally, one must be 40 years old or younger, or have made exceptional contributions in a particular practice area for 10 years or less.
