Demetrius Holloway elected to American Diabetes Association's Board

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The American Diabetes Association (ADA) of Kentucky has elected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Demetrius Holloway to its Community Leadership Board.

The ADA was founded in 1940 and is a leading nonprofit health organization that provides diabetes research, information and advocacy. The mission of the ADA is to prevent and cure diabetes, and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Holloway is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison based in the Louisville, Ky., office. A seasoned litigator with over 18 years of experience, Holloway represents employers in the defense of employment-based claims asserted under both Kentucky and federal law including, but not limited to, claims asserted under the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title VII and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. His experience includes defending civil actions filed in both state and federal court, as well as defending against administrative actions before state and federal administrative agencies.

Within the firm, Holloway is Chair of the Diversity Committee and is a member of the Firm Recruiting Committee. Outside of the firm, he is Chair of the Louisville Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section and is the Chairman of the Board of Deacons and Finance Board at his church. Holloway also participated in Leadership Louisville Center’s Bingham Fellows Class of 2014.
