Matthew A. Gass (Matt)

Matt Gass is a Member in the firm's Atlanta office where he handles a variety of litigation matters in state and federal court. He is a commercial litigator with significant experience representing international, national, and regional law firms and accounting firms. His clients have also included trustees, brokers, and businesses.

Matt is often retained to advise clients on how to manage risk, limit exposure, and resolve high-stakes disputes. He advises his accounting firm clients concerning investigations by the IRS, SEC, and DOJ, as well as on subpoena compliance issues. He also assists his clients with negotiating and drafting contracts.

Matt is a seasoned litigator who has successfully tried several cases. He has experience defending law firms and accounting firms in professional liability claims arising out of fiduciary duties, trusts and estates issues, litigation, business disputes, First Amendment claims, family law, real estate transactions, Stark Law compliance, tax matters, and audit engagements.
