Ross Hutchison Named Chair-Elect of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Construction Law Section
NASHVILLE, Tenn.— The Tennessee Bar Association’s Construction Law Section recently appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney J. Ross Hutchison Chair-Elect of the section. Hutchison will serve a one-year term.
Hutchison is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison based in the Nashville office. His practice focuses on both litigation and transactional matters within the construction industry. His clients primarily consist of residential and commercial owners, developers, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers. He assists clients with matters including contract review and preparation, business formations, bid protests, claims analysis and preparation, claims avoidance, alternative dispute resolution, licensing consultation and litigation support. Additionally, he represents various clients in property and land use disputes.
Outside of the firm, Hutchison is active in a variety of professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel, Associated General Contractors and Tennessee Utility Contractors Association (TUCA) of Middle Tennessee, where he also serves on the Board of Directors. In the local community, Hutchison is a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters Middle Tennessee.
