Robin McGuffin Elected to the Lexington Forum’s Board of Directors
LEXINGTON, Ky.—The Lexington Forum has elected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Robin McGuffin to its Board of Directors. She will serve a three-year term.
Since 1983, the Lexington Forum has committed to bringing together top leaders and experts to discuss key issues affecting the Lexington-Fayette community. Each month, a different topic is presented to gain more information. The mission of the organization is to support healthy, bipartisan discussion of important issues and to use its resources for the betterment of the Lexington-Fayette community.
McGuffin is an attorney based in the firm’s Lexington, KY office. She is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Group and the Employment Law Service Group. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to product liability, toxic and mass torts, major accidents, contract disputes, and employment discrimination and retaliation claims. She also counsels clients on issues such as non-solicitation and non-compete agreements as well as employment policies and procedures. A substantial portion of her practice involves appellate advocacy in both federal and state courts.
McGuffin stays active in firm leadership positions and in community organizations. She is a member of the firm’s Office of General Counsel, Ethics Subcommittee and the Lexington Office Recruiting Committee. Outside of the firm, she serves GreenHouse17’s Board of Directors as a member and secretary.
