Lawyer Monthly Names Stites & Harbison as Law Firm of the Year-USA for 2018 in Two Categories
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Lawyer Monthly has selected attorneys Mike Risley and David Owsley as well as Stites & Harbison, PLLC as recipients of the “Legal Awards 2018.” Risley and the firm won in the category of Benefits and Pensions – Law Firm of the Year – USA; Owsley and the firm won in the category of Technology, Data Privacy – Law Firm of the Year – USA.

Risley is a Member (Partner) based in the Louisville office. He is Co-Chair of the firm’s Appellate Advocacy Group and former Chair of the Louisville office’s Litigation Service Group. A seasoned litigator, Risley frequently appears before both state and federal appellate courts. He also has deep experience in disputes involving insurance bad faith and coverage, ERISA, and commercial and employment-related matters.
Owsley is a Member (Partner) in the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group in Louisville. He practices complex and bet-the-company litigation in courts across the country, with subjects including intellectual property, commercial disputes, government investigations, product liability, international disputes, trusts and estates, antitrust, fiduciary duty, corporate governance, executive employment, legal ethics, professional liability, and constitutional law.
