Greg Smith and Lauren Paxton Roberts Earn 2023 Best of the Bar Honors
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The Nashville Business Journal recently honored Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorneys Greg Smith and Lauren Paxton Roberts with the 2023 Best of the Bar awards. Smith has been honored nine times for family law. This is Roberts’ first time being honored in the litigation and dispute category.
Smith is Office Executive Member of Stites & Harbison in Nashville. His practice focuses on complex, difficult disputes between spouses and former spouses. He also has experience handling creditors’ rights and commercial litigation matters. Smith is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, North America’s preeminent organization of trial lawyers.
Roberts is a Member (Partner) of the firm based in Nashville and Franklin. She is a member of the Business Litigation and the Torts & Insurance Practice groups. She concentrates her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with a focus on financial services and professional malpractice. Roberts is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
The Nashville Business Journal started publishing Best of the Bar in 2003. The award recognizes excellence in the legal community. The candidates are nominated by their peers and selected from hundreds of nominations. Nominees are sorted into areas of practice and then asked to vote for one another in a round of closed voting. Extra weight is given for votes nominees receive outside of their firms. The highest scores are recognized as Best of the Bar.
