Carolyn Purcell Michener selected for Fund for the Arts NeXt Ambassador Class of 2020

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Fund for the Arts has selected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Carolyn Purcell Michener for the NeXt Ambassador Class of 2020.

Fund for the Arts is a regional nonprofit committed to building a vibrant community through the power of the arts. NeXt is a nationally recognized, 10-month program which prepares the next generation of emerging professionals for volunteer leadership roles within Greater Louisville’s arts and cultural community. The program’s curriculum includes networking with community leaders, professional development training and hands-on experience with arts-focused events and projects. NeXt Ambassadors meet once monthly from September through June, culminating with a group consultation project with a local nonprofit with an arts and culture focus. Project categories typically involve one of the following categories: collaborative initiatives, audience development, event management, program implementation, business operations, marketing and communications, and philanthropy.

Michener is an attorney based in the Louisville, Ky., office of Stites & Harbison. She is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. Michener has a diverse litigation practice that includes complex business disputes, financial services litigation and product liability defense.
