Litigation Paralegal* – Louisville, Ky. office (on-site)

Stites & Harbison, a full-service law firm, is seeking a Litigation paralegal to work with seasoned product liability lawyers.

This is NOT a remote position. Only candidates within commuting distance of Louisville, Kentucky will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and analyze medical records and prepare medical summaries.
• Search information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information.
• Determine, prepare, and organize materials needed for expert witness review.
• Review, analyze, and organize document productions.
• Summarize transcripts and assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents.
• Trial preparation and support including reviewing and preparation of records and exhibits.
• Maintain spreadsheets to track discovery, dismissals, and status of cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive civil litigation experience, preferably product liability or medical malpractice.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of plaintiffs and demands daily.
• Associate, Bachelor’s or Certificate in Paralegal Studies desired.
