IT Help Desk Specialist* – Louisville, Ky. office
Stites & Harbison PLLC, a full-service law firm with 12 offices in eight states, is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient first level IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team. We rely heavily on technology to deliver exceptional service to our attorneys, staff, and clients. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our attorneys and staff have the support they need to operate efficiently.
The Role
We are looking for an in-house, reliable, personable, and well-spoken individual to join a technical support team assisting all firm personnel, primarily focusing on end-user desktop and application issues. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer service.
Please note: The standard working hours for this position are 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, Teams, and in-person requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the firm’s core applications, hardware, and operating systems.
- Perform routine system maintenance, configuration, and user account management (onboarding/offboarding/password resets).
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and technical procedures clearly and accurately in the ticketing system.
- Assist with IT projects, hardware deployment, and software upgrades as needed.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and empathy while interacting with users.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
Candidates must have documented legal experience and/or proficiency with the following technologies:
- Operating Systems: proficient knowledge of Windows 11, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Productivity Suite: Expert-level support for Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Printers: Perform quick support for printers, if necessary, open a ticket with the printer support vendor.
- Conferencing: Knowledge of Zoom and Teams for activating meetings, troubleshooting sound and microphone problems, and helping schedule meetings.
- Phones: Zoom, Apple, and Android knowledge.
- Legal/Document Management:
- Experience supporting Litera Desktop and its components (e.g., Compare, Create, Metadact).
- Direct experience with a Document Management System, preferably iManage.
- Intapp Suite: Experience providing end-user support for the following applications:
- Intapp Time (Time Entry/Billing)
- Intapp Conflicts (Conflict Checking)
- Intapp Intake (New Business Workflow)
- Proven experience in a professional IT support environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly Desired (A Strong Plus)
- Prior experience or familiarity with legal accounting/billing systems or general accounting principles.
- A+ or similar industry certifications.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Litigation Paralegal* – Louisville, Ky., Lexington, Ky., or Covington, Ky. office (on-site)
Stites & Harbison, a full-service law firm, is seeking a Litigation paralegal to work with seasoned product liability lawyers.
This is NOT a remote position. Only candidates within commuting distance of Louisville, Kentucky OR Lexington, Kentucky will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze medical records and prepare medical summaries.
- Search information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information.
- Determine, prepare, and organize materials needed for expert witness review.
- Review, analyze, and organize document productions.
- Summarize transcripts and assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents.
- Trial preparation and support including reviewing and preparation of records and exhibits.
- Maintain spreadsheets to track discovery, dismissals, and status of cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive civil litigation experience, preferably product liability or medical malpractice.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of plaintiffs and demands daily.
- Associate, Bachelor’s or Certificate in Paralegal Studies desired.
