Veteran Attorney Greg Smith named Office Executive Member for Stites & Harbison’s Nashville office
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Gregory D. Smith has been named Office Executive Member for the Nashville, Tenn., office effective January 2015.
As the new Office Executive Member, Smith will serve as the face of the firm in the Nashville, Tennessee, community and assist the firm’s Chair in executing the firm’s strategic plan and policies. He will continue to serve clients as a Member (Partner) of the firm.
“An experienced attorney and leader, Greg is the ideal person to head the Nashville office,” stated the firm’s Chair, Robert M. Connolly. “I look forward to expanding our Nashville presence alongside his leadership.” Mr. Smith has been a Member of the firm since March 1998.
As a member of the Family Law Service Group, Smith’s practice focuses primarily on family law cases in courts in Nashville and surrounding counties. He also has experience handling creditors’ rights and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Additionally, Smith has an active practice as a Rule 31 Mediator. Smith has Martindale-Hubbell’s highest ranking (AV Preeminent®) and is listed in Best Lawyers in America® for Family Law. When he is not practicing law, he can usually be found near a board game, on a bicycle, or close to a fishing hole. Mr. Smith is married to Jan Read and has three children and one grandchild.
