Megan George Selected for Leadership Lexington’s Class of 2020-21

LEXINGTON, Ky.—Leadership Lexington has selected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Megan George as a member of the 2020-21 Leadership Lexington program. Through the eleven-month program, participants are provided with opportunities to gain a better understanding of Lexington and the challenges it faces by meeting with and learning from today’s leaders.

George is an attorney with Stites & Harbison in the Construction Service Group based in the Lexington office. She counsels clients on diverse of construction matters and routinely drafts, negotiates and reviews contracts for clients. She also frequently handles complex construction litigation and arbitration, advising clients in all stages of dispute resolution.

Outside of the firm, George is active in a variety of community organizations. She is a member of the Lexington Public Library’s Board of Advisors, the Lexington League of Women Voters Board and the Bluegrass Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.

Leadership Lexington is a leadership development program sponsored by Commerce Lexington intended for individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities. The program provides an opportunity for participants to broaden their perspectives and gain increased understanding of community dynamics and public issues.
