David L. Kinsella Joins Stites & Harbison in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney David L. Kinsella to the firm’s Lexington, Ky., office. He joins the firm as Counsel in the Construction Service Group.

Kinsella focuses his practice on construction law and research. With more than three decades of legal experience spanning private practice, corporate and research organizations, and the university environment, he brings a seasoned, multidisciplinary perspective to advising clients. He represents owners and developers of large-scale data centers nationwide on technologically complex construction and procurement projects. His work includes negotiating and managing construction and vendor agreements for a variety of business sectors. Drawing on his depth of experience supporting clinical trials, research, and risk management, he provides proactive, timely guidance at all stages of investigation with an eye toward compliance and risk reduction.

Before joining Stites & Harbison, Kinsella was Senior Associate General Counsel at the University of Kentucky. He previously held several senior legal roles, including Chief Legal Officer of Mapi Group (now ICON), a global contract research organization.

Kinsella earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.B.A. in Finance, with distinction, from the University of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
