In a former life, Mr. Barton was a professional musician, playing trumpet with various orchestras and bands in the United States and Canada. Besides music, Mr. Barton enjoys spending time with his family, watching his children compete in gymnastics meets thoughout the Midwest, and cheering on the Cards. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barton was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Colin H. Lindsay, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky (Fall 2016) and served as Editor in Chief for Volume 55 of the University of Louisville Law Review.
