Prior to joining the firm, Claire was a Law Clerk with Judge Karen K. Caldwell, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky (Sept. 2025-Aug. 2026) and with Magistrate Judge Regina S. Edwards, United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky (Sept. 2024-Aug. 2025). During law school, Claire interned for the Kentucky Innocence Project, Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, the Department of Public Advocacy – Lexington Trial Office, and Maxwell Street Legal Clinic. Prior to law school, she was an AmeriCorps Homes for All member serving at Community Action Council in Lexington, Kentucky.

Outside of the firm, Claire enjoys walking, historic movie theaters, giving back to her community, and learning about her birthplace (Japan) and her home states of Kentucky and Wyoming.
