Stites & Harbison Promotes Five Attorneys to Member

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC announced today that five attorneys have been promoted to Members (Partners) within the law firm effective January 2022. The new Members (Partners) include:

Megan GeorgeLexington, Ky., office – Construction Service Group

George counsels clients on construction matters and routinely drafts, negotiates and reviews contracts for clients. Her clients include public and private project owners, general contractors and subcontractors, whom she guides through all stages of project development and execution. She regularly advises national clients on design, construction, commissioning, consulting, vendor agreements and other contracts. Locally, she helps both public and private clients navigate state and federal procurement and federal grant administration.

Jeff MoadLouisville, Ky., office – Business Litigation Service Group

Moad practices complex business and commercial litigation, class action litigation, consumer finance litigation and professional liability defense. He counsels clients in a wide range of industries, including investment consultants, gaming and entertainment firms, financial institutions, manufacturers, loan servicers, law firms, food and beverage companies, pharmaceutical firms, insurers, telecommunications companies and many others. He has represented clients in litigation, investigations and negotiations opposite multiple state Attorneys General, corporations, classes and individuals.

Mari-Elise Paul – Louisville, Ky., and Alexandria, Va., offices – Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group

Paul’s practice involves litigating intellectual property infringement and trade secret misappropriation matters; prosecuting trademark and copyright registration applications; litigating trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings and negotiating and drafting licenses, assignments and other agreements that involve intellectual property or technology rights. She also practices in the Privacy and Data Security area and advises clients on a variety of privacy matters, including compliance with privacy and data security laws and drafting privacy policies.

Andrew PoltorakCovington, Ky., office – Construction Service Group

Poltorak represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. He has litigated and arbitrated matters involving contract disputes, business torts, trade secret protection, construction disputes, zoning and code compliance, product liability, shareholder litigation and financial services litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, he regularly reviews, drafts and advises clients regarding construction contracts and other related agreements. His clients include property owners, general contractors, subcontractors, financial institutions and manufacturers.

Taylor Stuckey – Lexington and Louisville, Ky., offices – Trusts & Estate Planning Group

Taylor’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, business succession planning and elder law. He also represents clients in charitable and nonprofit organization matters, business income tax planning and business formation. Taylor is a certified public accountant.
