Stites & Harbison, PLLC adds three attorneys

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC announces the addition of three new attorneys to the firm. Two of the attorneys are based in the Louisville, Ky., office and one is based in the Lexington, Ky., office.

Louisville, Ky., Office Additions:

Mary Katherine Kington joins the Real Estate & Finance Service Group. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2016, Order of the Coif. While in law school, Kington was Senior Staff Editor of Kentucky Law Journal and earned the Senior Staff Editor of the Year Award (Spring 2016). She also served as a University of Kentucky Supreme Court Justice (Fall 2014 – Spring 2016). Kington joined Stites & Harbison after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2014 and 2015. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.

Jennifer A. Pekman joins the Business Litigation Service Group. She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2015, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. During law school, Pekman served as a Production Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and earned the Outstanding Second-Year Source and Cite Editor Award. Before joining Stites & Harbison, Pekman served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas B. Russell, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Kentucky. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.

Lexington, Ky., Office Addition:

Robin E. McGuffin joins the Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group. She graduated first in her class from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2015, earning the 2015 Founder’s Medal for First Honors, and Order of the Coif. During law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. McGuffin joined the firm after serving as a law clerk for the Honorable John M. Rogers, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She previously participated in the firm’s summer associate program in 2014. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
