Larry Droege Appointed to Advisory Council for Recovery Ready Communities
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Governor Andy Beshear has appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Larry Droege to the Advisory Council for Recovery Ready Communities. His term will expire on June 29, 2025.
The Recovery Ready Communities law is meant to assist communities in fighting substance use disorder by focusing on prevention, treatment and long-term recovery. As part of this law, the 22-member Advisory Council will create the guidelines that communities must meet to receive the Recovery Ready Community designation. This certification process promotes the documentation of all recovery resources, or lack thereof, in a city or county in order to address any insufficiencies.
Droege is a Member (Partner) based in Stites & Harbison’s Louisville, Ky., office. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Banking Service Group. Droege primarily focuses his practice on real estate, lending and creditors’ rights law. He also has experience working with capital markets lenders in closing conduit loans and working with national insurance companies on synthetic guaranteed investment contracts.
