Kentucky Chamber Appoints W. Blaine Early, III as Chair of Energy & Environment Council
LEXINGTON, Ky.—The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce recently appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney W. Blaine Early, III as Chair of the Energy & Environment Council. He will serve a two-year term.
The Kentucky Chamber has established five public policy councils to develop legislative priorities for each policy area of focus. The Energy & Environment Council assists the Chamber in promoting Kentucky as an energy leader and implementing policies that achieve environmental protection while supporting economic development and business growth.
Early is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison and a member of the Environmental, Natural Resources & Energy Service Group based in Lexington. His broad environmental law practice focuses on water and land issues, agriculture, natural resources and energy, and the intersection of surety law and environmental regulatory matters.
Outside of the firm, Early integrates his legal and scientific backgrounds in professional and civic organizations. He is Co-Chair of the Constitutional Law and Virtual Learning Committees of the American Bar Association’s Section on Energy Environment and Resources, Chair of the Lexington Environmental Commission, and serves on the Executive Board of Bluegrass Tomorrow.
