Josh Chesser Joins Stites & Harbison in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Joshua K. Chesser (Josh) to the firm’s Nashville, Tenn., office. He joins the firm as a Member (Partner) in the Construction Service Group.

Chesser has a diverse practice, focusing on construction, business litigation and transactional work. His background includes complex commercial, construction, insurance and real estate litigation as well as surety law. Chesser has litigated numerous cases through appeal and handled matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Chesser was a Partner for a national law firm focused on surety and construction law. Before that, he was a Partner at Smith Cashion & Orr in Nashville.
Outside of the firm, Chesser is active in a variety of professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law and the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel. He is also a member of the Greater Nashville Auburn Club and a past board member of the Nashville Junior Chamber. He is admitted to practice in Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.
