Hal Gill, Jr. named Office Executive Member for Stites & Harbison's Atlanta Office

ATLANTA—Stites & Harbison, PLLC real estate attorney Harold E. “Hal” Gill Jr. has been named Office Executive Member for the Atlanta office. He succeeds attorney L. Lou Allen, who has successfully served in this role for three years. Allen, a Member (Partner) of the firm, will continue to serve clients in her creditors’ rights and bankruptcy practice.

“Hal is an excellent attorney with incredible leadership skills. He’s the perfect individual to succeed Lou, and to maintain the high standards that have led to the success of the Atlanta office,” said Robert M. Connolly, Chair of Stites & Harbison.

As the new Office Executive Member, Gill will be active in the Atlanta community on behalf of the firm and will assist the Chair in executing firm policy. He will continue to serve firm clients and practice as a Member (Partner) of the firm. He will also remain a member of the firm’s Opinions Committee and an ex officio member of the Atlanta Office Recruiting Committee.

Outside of the firm, Gill is involved in a variety of local civic, charitable and church activities. He is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity’s Alumni Advisory Board. He previously served as a board member of Gwinnett YMCA, and has also served as a Presbyterian deacon and elder. Due to his passion for all aspects of Scottish culture, he is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, serves as Georgia Deputy Commissioner of the Clan Campbell Society (North America) and participates in Scottish Highland festivals whenever possible Gill has been with Stites & Harbison since 2015.
