Douglass Farnsley inducted as Fellow of International Academy of Trial Lawyers
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL) recently inducted Stites & Harbison attorney Douglass Farnsley as a Fellow. The ceremony took place on October 26, 2009, in Bodrum, Turkey. Fellowship in IATL is one of the highest honors a trial lawyer can receive as IATL limits membership to 500 Fellows in the U.S. Lawyers are invited into Fellowship after a rigorous peer evaluation process, which includes evaluations by judges and other trial lawyers. Farnsley is one of nine Fellows from Kentucky.
IATL was chartered in 1954. The organization’s main goals include facilitating the administration of justice and elevating the standards of integrity, honor and civility in the legal profession.
Douglass Farnsley is a member of Stites & Harbison based in the Louisville, Ky., office. He practices in the firm’s Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group. He focuses on civil trial work, including the defense of professional and hospital liability claims. He has over 25 years of trial experience, including 50+ matters successfully tried to verdict.
