Chrisandrea L. Turner Appointed to Lexington Ethics Commission
LEXINGTON, Ky.—The Urban County Council has confirmed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney, Chrisandrea L. Turner, as the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce Representative to the Ethics Commission of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
Turner is a Member (Partner) based in the firm’s Lexington office. She is Chair of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group. Her practice focuses on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring and adversary proceeding defense. She regularly represents lenders, trade creditors, lessors and lessees, sureties and large creditors in Chapter 11 matters and complex bankruptcies around the country. Her litigation practice includes receiverships, preferential and fraudulent transfer defense in bankruptcies, nondischarge of debt adversaries and foreclosure. She also serves clients in the areas of environmental actions, healthcare matters and corporate transactions.
Outside of Stites & Harbison, Turner stays active in a variety of professional and community organizations. She is former Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Women Lawyers Association and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Turner is also a member of the Board of Directors of Dv8 Vocational Training Foundation and Leadership Kentucky. She is a former Chair of Women Leading Kentucky.
