Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass Elects Gentry Collins to Board of Directors
LEXINGTON, Ky.—Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass (CAC of the Bluegrass) has elected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Gentry C. Collins to its Board of Directors. She will serve a three-year term.
CAC of the Bluegrass is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing the trauma experienced by child victims of sexual abuse. The organization provides various healing services in a nurturing, friendly and safe environment at no cost to a child’s family. CAC of the Bluegrass also aims to improve the procedures by which child sexual abuse cases are handled in its 17-county Central Kentucky region.
Collins is an attorney based in the firm’s Lexington, Ky., office. She is a member of the Trusts & Estates Service Group. Her practice focuses on developing and implementing estate plans that achieve each client’s goals. She is experienced in planning for estate, gift and Kentucky inheritance tax; designing and implementing business succession plans; counseling clients on business entity selection; trust and estate administration; elder law and litigating fiduciary disputes.
Beyond CAC of the Bluegrass, Collins is active in several community groups. She volunteers for the Lexington Leadership Foundation as an Amachi Mentor and the Lexington Opera House. Additionally, Collins is a BGCF365 member of the Blue Grass Community Foundation.
