Chad McTighe Appointed Chair of Stites & Harbison’s Business Litigation Service Group


LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Chad McTighe has been appointed Chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group. McTighe succeeds Phil Collier, who has served as the service group chair for 22 years. Both Collier and McTighe will continue their diverse legal practices in business litigation.

McTighe is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison in the Louisville office. He previously served three years as the Louisville Office Leader of the Business Litigation Service Group and is currently a member of the Louisville Office Recruiting Committee. McTighe regularly advises and represents clients in a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters, including extensive practice in class action litigation, shareholder and membership disputes, real estate litigation, data breaches and fiduciary duty litigation. He represents clients in various industries, including telecommunications, oil and gas, tax liens, insurance, financial institutions, health care and many others. He has practiced in a number of state and federal courts and has successfully argued multiple issues of first impression resulting in published appellate decisions.

Outside of the firm, McTighe stays active in a variety of community organizations. He regularly participates in numerous volunteer activities, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation, previously working with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and serving as a pro bono attorney representing victims of domestic violence.
