Fiftieth Session of the General Assembly at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)

Jeffery P. Langer of Stites & Harbison’s Intellectual Property & Technology group will address the Fiftieth Session of the General Assembly at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on behalf of the International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council (IIPCC). The IIPCC is a permanent observer at WIPO, as well as a partner with WIPO Green, an interactive marketplace that promotes innovation and diffusion of green technologies. Dr. Langer serves as an Executive Member of the IIPCC and as Deputy Executive Director of the IIPCC – USA Society. The IIPCC is a global, non-profit, non-partisan organization providing a platform for the innovator and entrepreneur communities and enterprises to increase their understanding of IP, to gather resources for unleashing the value of their IP, and to realize the commercialization potential of their IP in products, services, or processes. The General Assembly meeting brings together WIPO’s member states, allowing them to take stock of the progress in the Organization’s work and to discuss future policy directions.
