Brady Dunnigan is based in the firm’s Lexington office, where his practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate and finance. He represents developers of hotels, entertainment venues, office buildings, mixed-use projects and industrial facilities, as well as lenders who finance them. His practice also includes general business law, assisting clients in structuring, documentation and financing of acquisitions, dispositions and other business transactions, and he serves as outside general corporate counsel to various clients. He is a longtime agent for a national title insurance underwriter, and has significant experience issuing legal opinions for a broad spectrum of acquisition and finance transactions.

In addition, Dunnigan has over 20 years of experience representing clients in the coal industry. He regularly advises coal operators, lessors and lenders in connection with mineral interest acquisition, ownership and leasing; acquisition of assets out of bankruptcy; lien creation and enforcement; and various legal issues associated with day-to-day mining operations.

Brady is the father of two children with special needs and dedicates much of his personal time to child advocacy and abuse prevention. This includes serving as president of the board of CAC of Kentucky, a nonprofit organization that provides operational assistance, regulatory monitoring, and awareness for Kentucky’s statewide network of child advocacy centers.
