Ian T. Ramsey represents clients in federal and state courts across the United States. He is an experienced commercial and serious personal injury trial attorney.
Mr. Ramsey is the Chair of Stites & Harbison’s Gaming Law Group. Stites & Harbison represents clients with various gaming interests, including protection of intellectual property rights, charitable gambling, pari-mutuel wagering, Indian casino gambling, and online gambling.
Mr. Ramsey is also the outside general counsel for a national private corrections company and a regional manufacturing corporation. He assists these clients as a trial attorney and to identify and limit risks in their business operations.

Before Stites & Harbison
Ian Ramsey joined Stites & Harbison in March 2002. Prior to that he was a senior associate at Brown, Todd & Heyburn LLC, where he practiced commercial litigation. Before this, he was an Assistant State Attorney for Florida's Twentieth Judicial Circuit.
More Than Stites & Harbison
Mr. Ramsey is very active in the community serving as the chairman for the Louisville Public Media Advisory Council. He is also a member of the 2010 Class of Leadership Louisville.

When not practicing law, Ian focuses his time and energy to raise his daughter and son with his wife, Kelly.
