LEXINGTON, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Gentry C. Collins to the firm. She joins the Trusts & Estates Service Group and will be based in the firm’s Lexington, Ky., office servicing clients across the Commonwealth.

Collins’s practice focuses on developing and implementing estate plans that achieve each client’s goals. She is experienced in planning for estate, gift and Kentucky inheritance tax; designing and implementing business succession plans; counseling clients on business entity selection; trust and estate administration; elder law and litigating fiduciary disputes.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Collins was an attorney with a small law firm in Lexington where she worked in the estate planning and administration practice. Collins earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and earned a B.S., cum laude, in Accountancy from the University of Kentucky. She is named on the 2022 Rising Stars list of Kentucky Super Lawyers® in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate.

Outside of the firm, Collins is active in the community. She is a member of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council and is a BGCF365 member of the Bluegrass Community Foundation. Additionally, Collins is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, Trusts & Estate Section and Young Lawyers Division. She volunteers for various groups, including the Lexington Leadership Foundation as an Amachi Mentor and the Lexington Opera House. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
