Samuel F. Miller Rejoins Stites & Harbison in Nashville

Bolsters the Firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Capabilities

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Samuel F. Miller back to the firm’s Nashville, Tenn., office where he started his legal career in 2003. He rejoins the firm as a Member (Partner) in the Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group.

Miller has more than 20 years of intellectual property and litigation experience. His practice focuses primarily on trademark and patent litigation. He has served as lead trial counsel for a wide range of clients from celebrities and entrepreneurs to a billion-dollar start-up to one of the world’s leading medical device manufacturers in courts throughout the United States. He has represented publicly-traded companies in the music, software and construction materials fields. He is also a Rule 31 listed mediator.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Miller founded and served as Managing Partner of Miller Legal Partners PLLC in Nashville and Brentwood, Tenn., for seven years. Before that, he was Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Sub-Group of a large Nashville law firm.

Outside of the firm, Miller stays active in a variety of professional organizations. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and a former Chair of its Intellectual Property Section.
