Michael is an Associate in the Louisville office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group. Michael advises and represents clients in a variety of business and legal matters, including complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, regulatory matters, business torts, civil litigation, real estate and title insurance litigation, insurance coverage matters, dram shop cases, and professional liability actions. He has also represented property owners and home builders in a variety of real estate related cases, including those involving tax liens, mechanic’s liens, and the enforceability of property restrictions.
Michael joined Stites & Harbison in September 2006 after participating in the firm's summer associate program in 2004 and 2005. Before that, Michael spent his summers teaching tennis lessons to adults and juniors at Owl Creek Country Club in Anchorage, Kentucky.
Michael is a volunteer attorney for the Center for Women and Families and the Legal Aid Society. Michael served as the firm representative for the Legal Aid Society's Associates Campaign in 2009 and 2010.
Outside of practicing, Michael enjoys hiking, mountain biking, playing the guitar and piano, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. Michael is also an avid fan of college basketball and football.Recent Assignments
