LEXINGTON, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney David L. Kinsella to the firm’s Lexington, Ky., office. He joins the firm as Counsel in the Construction Service Group.

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The 2026 edition of Kentucky Super Lawyers recently honored 40 Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorneys in the Covington, Lexington and Louisville, Ky., offices. The publication named 31 attorneys to the Super Lawyers list and eight attorneys to the Rising Stars list. A number of Stites & Harbison attorneys have received special recognition in Kentucky Super Lawyers. Three attorneys — Bethany A. Breetz, Carol Dan Browning and Shannon Antle Hamilton — are listed among the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Kentucky. This is Breetz’s first time earning the honor, while Browning and Hamilton have received the honor 20 and 14 times, respectively. Additionally, Joel T. Beres, Carol Dan Browning, Shannon Antle Hamilton and David W. Nagle, Jr. are listed among the Top 50 Attorneys in Kentucky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC announced today that eight attorneys have been promoted to Member (Partner). The promotions are effective January 1, 2026. The new Members (Partners) include Joshua F. Barnette, Neil E. Barton, Gentry C. Collins, Jennifer Henry Jackson, Daniel B. Millman, Ann H. Murphy, Joseph V. Ronderos, Jr., and Gary N. (Nick) Stewart.

Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton recently appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Elizabeth “Betsy” Johnson to the Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning Board of Directors. The appointment was confirmed by the Lexington Fayette Urban County Council. She will serve a four-year term.
