COVINGTON, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Allyson True Cook. She is Counsel to the firm based in the Covington office. Cook is a member of the Construction and Real Estate Service Groups.
Cook’s practice focuses on construction, real estate, commercial finance and business litigation. She counsels clients in the acquisition, sale, development, leasing, construction and financing of industrial, commercial and residential properties. She also advises clients regarding opportunities available for small and minority/women certified owned businesses.
Outside of Stites & Harbison, Cook is very involved in her community. She is a past board chair for NorthKey Community Care, Inc. and presently serves as a member of the board. Cook is also on the board of directors for Northern Kentucky MHMR Properties and is an advisory board member for the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky. She is a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce where she is involved with several committees. Cook is also active with the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council which is a regional partner organization with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (“WBENC”). Cook also serves as an advisory board member for She’s All That Boutique which provides educational opportunities to high school girls through the Wings of Faith Foundation.
Cook was named Corporate Advocate of the Year in 2015 at the Ohio Valley Women’s Business Council Catch the Wave Conference. In 2011, she was a nominee for Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky and won the Wilbert L. Ziegler Award in 2009.
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Cook was an attorney for a law firm in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., where she focused her practice in general business, construction and real estate law. Prior to that, she worked for a firm in Crestview Hills, Ky. Cook earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
