Stites & Harbison attorney elected as Regent of American College of Trial Lawyers

LEXINGTON, Ky.—The American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) recently elected Stites & Harbison attorney John M. Famularo as a Regent of the ACTL Board. He represents Region IX, which consists of Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and Michigan for a four-year term. His primary duty as Regent involves researching candidates for admission (Fellowship) and recommending the best candidates to the Admission to Fellowship Committee. He is the second attorney from Stites & Harbison to serve as Regent.

Famularo is a member of Stites & Harbison based in the Lexington, Ky., office. He is the co-chair of the Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group. His practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical companies, product liability matters, class action defense and complex litigation.

Famularo’s activity in ACTL includes Fellowship and a variety of committee appointments, including chair of the Griffin Bell Award for Courageous Advocacy Committee, member of the Emil Gumbert Award Committee, and member of the National Trial Competition Committee.
