Kathleen Simcoe is an experienced trial lawyer and Member in the firm's Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group. Her civil litigation and trial practice focuses on defense of professional liability litigation in the area of medical malpractice and related corporate matters in Georgia state and federal courts. She has extensive experience representing health care providers and health care corporations including defense of health care providers before Georgia licensing boards and advising health care organizations concerning general risk management issues.
She is admitted to practice in all Georgia and Florida state courts, United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

After law school, Kathleen was a prosecutor for the Florida State Attorney's Office where she handled her own jury trial case load. Prior to joining Stites, she practiced for many years with an Atlanta insurance defense firm litigating professional malpractice actions from pre-suit through jury trial.
