John Weber
Based in Stites & Harbison’s Louisville office, John is a member of the Real Estate and Banking Service Group. His practice focuses on commercial real estate and business transactions, advising developers, investors and lenders in the acquisition, construction, development, and sale of multifamily, office, retail, industrial and other commercial properties nationwide.
John earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and graduated cum laude with a Certificate of Distinction in Transactional Skills and with the honor of being the Outstanding Law Student Graduate. While in law school, John served in the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates and on the Louisville Bar Association’s Board of Directors. He was a member of the University of Louisville Law Review, and an editor for the Journal of Law and Education. Additionally, John represented start-up business clients in the Entrepreneurship Clinic and had the opportunity to consult on an amicus brief for Bostock v. Clayton City, Georgia (2019) to the United States Supreme Court.

John was a real estate attorney with another local firm in Louisville from 2018-20. Prior to that he was a corporate law clerk with LG&E-KU (2017-18). From 2014-15, John was Interim Minister with Youth and College Students at St. Matthews Baptist Church and from 2012-14, he was a 12th Grade AP Government Teacher as well as the Tennis and Bowling Coach at Cane Ridge High School in Nashville, TN. During that time John was affiliated with Teach For America (TFA), and later founded the TFA Louisville Alumni Board, which he chaired.
