Lexington Office

Stites & Harbison PLLC, a preeminent full-service law firm with 11 offices in six states, has an immediate opportunity for a transactional construction associate with 3 to 5 years of experience. While the associate will primarily work with a group based in the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office, for the right applicant, the firm’s other locations will also be considered for an associate’s primary location. Flexible work arrangements are available.

The position primarily involves contract negotiations and related transactional work but could include some litigation, depending on the firm’s needs and applicant’s interest. Applicants should possess a strong academic background and have excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. A background in engineering, architecture, or the construction industry is not required, but will be considered (if applicable).

Louisville or Lexington Office

Stites & Harbison, PLLC has an immediate opening for an associate in its Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group in the Lexington or Louisville office. Desired candidate will have graduated between 2017 and 2022. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong written and oral communication skills, and be entrepreneurial, team oriented, and highly motivated. The successful candidate will have immediate client interaction in a fast-paced environment handling complex matters.

Nashville Office

The Nashville Office of Stites &Harbison has an immediate opening for a patent attorney to join the firm as an associate in our Intellectual Property and Technology Service Group.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills;
  • Registration to practice before the USPTO;
  • 3-5 years patent prosecution experience;
  • Portable business a plus, but not required.
