Anne Gorham elected to leadership of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Industry

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 29, 2005)—Stites & Harbison announced today that Lexington attorney Anne E. Gorham has been elected to the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry.
Ms. Gorham is a partner of the firm and serves as chair of Stites & Harbison's Construction Service Group. Her practice focuses on construction litigation and construction contract drafting and negotiation.
She was elected to the Governing Committee at the Forum's April 9, 2005, meeting in New Orleans. Another Stites & Harbison construction attorney, Buck Hinkle, has served on the Forum's Governing Committee, 1996 to 2002, including a stint as its chair from 2000 to 2001.
Ms. Gorham has been active in several areas of the ABA Forum. She has served on the Steering Committee on Design/Build from 1995 through 2002, as Chair of the Division on Project Delivery Systems from 2002 through 2005 and the Nominating Committee in 1998 and 2003. She is also the past Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association Construction and Public Contracts Section.
In addition to her ABA activities, Ms. Gorham is a Board Member and Legislative Chair of the Ohio Valley Chapter of Design-Build Institute of America and has been an American Arbitration Association Mediators and Neutrals Panelists since 1996. She earned both her law degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky.
