LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Products Liability Committeehas appointed Stites & Harbison attorney Whitney Frazier Watt as the executive editor of its Products Liability newsletter.  Previously Watt served as an associate executive editor of the publication.  She will serve a two-year term (2011-2013) in this capacity.

One of the most significant changes Watt will oversee in 2011 involves the newsletter’s transition to an all electronic format.  The publication, which is used to highlight products liability and litigation issues, is published multiple times per year and is distributed to ABA members nationwide.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me to be at the cutting edge of this area of litigation and see and hear firsthand what is happening in the products liability bar around the county,” said Watt.

Whitney Frazier Watt is an attorney based in the Louisville, Ky., office of Stites & Harbison.  She is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group and the Business Litigation Service Group.  She has a wide-ranging practice that includes products liability cases, contract disputes, professional negligence cases, and mass actions.
