Stites & Harbison, PLLC

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Nashville attorneys M. Clark Spoden and Gregory T. Young have joined Stites & Harbison PLLC. 

Spoden is a trial lawyer with 30 years of experience in complex business litigation, labor and employment. He joins the Business Litigation Practice Group at Stites & Harbison as a member from Frost Brown Todd where he helped start the Nashville office in 1998.

Young is an environmental attorney and has worked with clients on wetlands mitigation and conservation, stormwater and erosion control, brownfield agreements, carbon credits and alternative energy projects. Formerly with Bass Berry & Sims for eight years, Young will work as counsel with the Environmental Law Practice Group at Stites & Harbison.

Spoden is a life member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference, a member of the Defense Research Institute, a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation and has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America^®.  A frequent lecturer on trial practice and employment law, Spoden also teaches at the Nashville School of Law. He holds degrees from University of the South and the University of Tennessee College of Law. 

Young has been listed as a Mid-South Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  He holds degrees from Mississippi College and Tulane University.
