Kentucky Bar Association elects Douglass Farnsley to Board of Governors for second term

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Members of the Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) recently elected Stites & Harbison attorney Douglass Farnsley to a second two-year term on its Board of Governors.  His term began on July 1.  The Board of Governors is the governing body of the 14,000-member KBA.  The KBA is an independent agency of the Kentucky Supreme Court.  The KBA is charged with maintaining a proper discipline of the members of the bar and with promoting continuing education of Kentucky’s lawyers.

Farnsley is a Member of the Louisville, Ky. office of Stites & Harbison and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  His practice focuses on civil trial work.  He has over 25 years of trial experience, including more than 50 matters successfully tried to verdict.  He has argued cases before state and federal appeals courts.  Farnsley serves on the firm’s General Counsel Committee and previously served on its Management Committee.
