Franklin's Charge elects Julian Bibb as officer, re-elects him to board

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Franklin's Charge recently elected attorney Julian Bibb as an officer and re-elected him to the board of directors for a one-year term.  Franklin's Charge is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a public/private Civil War battlefield park commemorating the 1864 Battle of Franklin.  Its members include representatives from all of the existing preservation and conservation organizations in Williamson County.

Bibb is a member of the Nashville, Tenn., office of Stites & Harbison.  His practice centers largely on banking and includes various credit facilities.  Bibb is also experienced in real estate law.  He has counseled a wide variety of clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, zoning, development, planning and leasing.  In addition, he counsels not-for-profits and has experience in historic preservation and conservation easements.

Besides his work with Franklin's Charge, Bibb is a board member of Leadership Franklin, Transportation Management Association, Williamson County Medical Foundation, Tennessee Civil War Preservation Association, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, Williamson County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Cumberland Region Tomorrow.  He is also pro bono legal counsel of Gabes My Heart, director of Youth Leadership Franklin, and volunteer and legal counsel for Land Trust for Tennessee.

Bibb is admitted to practice in Tennessee.
