David Porter elected to Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation Board

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 29, 2007)—J. David Porter of Stites & Harbison's Lexington, Ky., law office, was elected to the board of directors of the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation, Inc. The foundation procures financial support for the Lexington Philharmonic Society, which is the operating entity of the orchestra.
"We are pleased to have David Porter serve on the Lexington Philharmonic Foundation"s Board. We know that his experience and leadership will help advance the goals of the Foundation and ultimately help support the Philharmonic Society," said Peter Kucirko, executive director of the Lexington Philharmonic.
Porter previously served on the board of directors of the Lexington Philharmonic Society for eight years. "As a former president of the Lexington Philharmonic Society, David Porter's input and active participation will help us grow the Endowment. His help with the Foundation is greatly appreciated," said Chair Sharon C. Reed, Lexington Philharmonic Foundation.
David Porter is a partner with Stites & Harbison and chair of the firm's Trusts & Estate Planning/Domestic Service Group. His practice focuses on trusts and estates, estate planning, probate and fiduciary law. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
