Hinkle and Gorham Honored with Top Awards by the Associated General Contractors of America

LEXINGTON, Ky. (November 15, 2007)—Stites & Harbison announced today that Buck Hinkle and Anne Gorham in its Lexington, Ky., office, were honored by The Associated General Contractors (AGC) at its annual meeting.  Hinkle received the Legislative Advocate of the Year award for being a constant and dedicated resource for AGC staff in the political and legislative arenas.

"Buck's outstanding ability to analyze and craft construction-related legislation, regulation and public policy has earned him our continued gratitude and praise," said Richard Vincent, Executive Vice President of the AGC.

Anne Gorham received the Distinguished Service Award for the legal expertise and negotiating skill she brought to bear on the KY House Bill 490 (The Fairness in Kentucky Construction Act of 2007).

"Anne was a tremendous resource for us during the passage of House Bill 490," said Vincent. "Her ability to evaluate complex legislative problems and public policy issues is a remarkable skill."
