LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 28, 2007)—Stites & Harbison announced that Douglass Farnsley has been elected to the Kentucky Bar Association Board of Governors.  He was sworn in on June 21, 2007 at the Kentucky Bar Association Convention in Louisville, Ky.

Farnsley is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  He is a member of the firm based in the Louisville, Ky., office and is a member of the firm's Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group.  He serves on the firm's General Counsel Committee and previously served on its Management Committee.

Farnsley was recently selected for inclusion in the 2007 version of The Best Lawyers in America® and the 2007 Kentucky Super Lawyers magazine.  He is AV™-rated in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory®.
