FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 7, 2006)—Stites & Harbison announced today that Erica Horn, a member of the firm in the Frankfort, Ky., office was elected to the board of directors of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA).  The incoming board members, along with other members of the 2006-2007 board of directors were recognized at KyCPA's Annual Members Meeting in Louisville, Ky., June 22.  They officially began their duties July 1.

Board members serve volunteer positions and are elected by the society's general membership.  The Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants is a statewide, non-profit professional organization serving CPAs in public accounting firms, business, industry, government and education.

Horn is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group, where her practice focuses on state and local tax (SALT) planning and litigation.  She also uses her prior experience as a CPA in accounting malpractice cases, and has expertise in complex business litigation.
