LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2005)—Stites & Harbison today announced that Marshall Hixson has joined its Lexington office as an associate.

Hixson received his J.D. (1997) and his B.S. in Accounting and Finance (1994) from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.  During law school, Hixson was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, 1996 to 1997, and a member of the National ATLA Trial Team, 1997.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Hixson worked for the Lexington, Ky. law firms of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, from 1999 to 2005 and Lynn, Fulkerson, Nichols & Kinkel, PLLC, from 1997 to 1999.

Hixson is admitted to practice in Kentucky, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.  He is also a member of the Kentucky, Fayette County and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Associations.
