Stephen M. Reams joins Stites & Harbison's Atlanta practice

ATLANTA (Aug. 26, 2005)—Stites & Harbison announced today that Stephen Reams has joined its Atlanta office as Counsel. Reams is a member of the firm's Construction Service Group, where his practice concentrates on construction litigation and construction contract drafting and negotiation.
Before Stites & Harbison, Reams was an associate at the Atlanta law firm of Alston & Bird, LLP, from 1999 to 2005. From 1996 to 1999 he was an associate at Carlton Fields, located in Tampa, Fla. He was also a student of German at the Goethe Institute in Atlanta, from 2001 to 2005, and is proficient in the German language.
Reams earned his Juris Doctor in 1996 from the University of Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Ind. While in law school, he was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Legislation and participated in Notre Dame's Concannon Programme of International Law in London.
Prior to law school, he earned a B.A. in Economics in 1986 from Centre College located in Danville, Ky. During his undergraduate studies, he was a Contributing Writer to the student newspaper and also a NCAA football player for four years.
Mr. Reams is admitted to practice in Georgia and Florida.
