  • Advise client on program management and dispute resolution methods for $250,000,000 arena project.
  • Represented steel fabricator in multi-million dollar arbitration arising out of construction of a large paper products manufacturing facility in Missouri.
  • Serve as mediator for multi-party claims for defective construction and property damage due to water infiltration/mold.
  • Represented general contractor in arbitration of acceleration and impact claim in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
  • Served as mediator, and achieved settlement, in a six-party dispute involving design and construction of a regional hospital facility in Iowa.
  • Helped negotiate a walk away settlement on a $600,000 loss of productivity claim on an assembly plant construction project.
  • Negotiated a successful resolution of a multi-million dollar dispute with a drilling contractor and its surety regarding the failure of the contractor to complete the installation of a gas pipeline under the Spring River in Iowa, in order for the client to achieve timely start up with a gas supplier.
  • Represented design-builder in defending owner claims and asserting client claims against subcontractors resulting from a wall collapse at a Virginia food processing facility.  This multi-party dispute was settled at mediation resulting in subcontractors' payments to our client.
  • Successfully asserted a design-builder's seven-figure claim for professional negligence against an engineering and testing firm.  The client achieved a favorable settlement following favorable pre-trial rulings and mediation.
